General
The number of EzyBrace required depends on the size of the panels, wind loading and the configuration in which you use the EzyBrace.
In low wind situations, use QuickClamps to reduce the number of EzyBrace required:
For strongest bracing, do not use QuickClamps & finish each run using TopClamp mode:
It is the responsibility of the installer to determine if a glass panel is braced adequately.
Yes!
The double hinging system of the EzyBrace means that the clamping head will move up and down as the base plate is moved in and out.
The closer the base plate to the glass, the higher the clamping head.
The EzyBrace is optimised for glass pool fence panels, 1200-1250mm high, but can also be used on 1000mm glass balustrade panels.
In TOP CLAMP mode, the max glass height from finished Floor Level (FFL) is around 1300mm. However in DUAL CLAMP mode the EzyBrace clamps onto the side of glass, and will hold glass panels 1700mm height from FFL.
No.
The purpose of the EzyBrace is to rigidly hold the glass in place whilst grout is setting. Testing showed that a telescopic bar reduces the stiffness of the bracing system.
